Job Summary:
We’re partnering with a Chemical Manufacturer in Shah Alam that is looking for a Voice Engineer to support the organisation’s global voice and messaging collaboration infrastructure.
- Implementation and support of the voice and UC infrastructure include Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams Phone System, Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and VC Room Technologies (Poly)
- Fulfil service requests related to network voice and wireless following the change management procedure
- Create and maintain documentations of network configuration, network diagram, mapping, processes and service records
- Develop solutions aimed at enhancing service efficiency and undertake responsibilities that necessitate expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) PowerShell scripting
- Maintain the organisation’s SIP Trunk systems, whist Implementation and support of AudioCodes and Ribbon SBC
- Deployment of carrier SIP solutions
- Perform troubleshooting of SIP signalling, media flows and device-level log files
- Collaborate with vendors to solve complex support problems
- Create runbooks, PowerShell scripts, and automation playbooks for operational workflows
Requirements:
- Min 6 years of experience in voice and messaging collaboration infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP/SRTP, media codecs, SBC call flows and enterprise voice routing logic
- Hands on implementation and support the transition from Carrier ISDN circuits to centralized Carrier SIP, as well as from Legacy PBX/Lync/Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
- Experience in PowerShell scripting
