We are hiring a Silicon Photonics Development Engineer for a prestigious, global semiconductor in Singapore. This is a full-time, on-site, 5-day work week position. The employer will handle the Employment Pass (EP) application for successful international candidates.
Job Role:
- Drive the development of Silicon Photonics process
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams from design to manufacturing, resolve process development flow and report project status to Team Leader
- Understand customers’ requirements and propose solutions within fab process capability
- Collaborate with R&D Team to ensure device meets specification and Silicon Photonics process flow
- Fabricate and integrate Silicon Photonics process development by following process documentation and operating instructions
- Characterization execution/analysis and debug of Silicon Photonics test in new silicon designs and process technologies
- Cross functional collaboration with other teams for development / optimization attempt to identify bottlenecks and address quality issues
Requirements:
- Min 3 years’ experience working in silicon photonics or integrated optics
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering, Optics & Photonics Engineering, Applied Physics or Material Engineering
- Deep knowledge of silicon photonics from design, packaging to volume test
- Experience in photonic integrated circuit design, modelling and layout
