Job Summary:

Our Esteemed and Reputable Client is a high-tech solutions provider that develops, innovates and customises complex high-tech systems. We are partnering with our Client to hire a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This position combines technical leadership with project delivery, making critical design decisions while managing engineering execution, maintaining direct relationships with customers and vendors.

• Mentor and guide the Mechanical Engineers on mechanical design execution and quality standards
• Lead mechanical design from concept through detailed engineering for automation equipment
• Convert customer inputs and system specifications into structured mechanical requirements and documentation
• Conduct design review and defend mechanical architecture decisions to customers and internal stakeholders
• Apply DFMEA framework ensure manufacturability and reliability
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation and deliverable coordination
• Travel to customers’ sites and facilities for technical alignment and customer meetings

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
• Min of 8 years proven experience in high-tech mechanical engineering
• Min of 3 years in a leadership capacity
• Strong proficiency in DFM/DFA principles and DFMEA execution
• Willingness to travel internationally for technical collaboration
